Who’s behind GraveSite?
Editor-in-Chief Delaney Rebernik lost her parents three years and two ICU rooms apart. Both were in their 60s. Ever since, she’s focused her journalism on death, grief, horror, and how to be less stiff-armed and tight-lipped about it all. Executive Producer Alexis Haut writes and produces award-winning journalism at the cross-section of loss and culture.
Brooklyn-based and Jersey-bred, the two met making indie media between stints at legacy pubs and together bring 25+ years of award-winning print and digital publishing, multimedia reporting, and editorial product development to GraveSite. They have words or work in Aeon/Psyche, Bloomberg, Design Observer, Fortune, the Guardian, McKinsey & Company, and TIME.
