Becky Robison

Becky Robison (she/her) is a writer and death doula living in Louisville, Kentucky. A graduate of UNLV's Creative Writing MFA program, her work has appeared in Salon, Slate, Business Insider, and elsewhere. She’s also the mind behind deadparentswhatnow.com, a project that aims to help people navigate the dizzying labyrinth of post-death bureaucracy based on her own experience. Quirk Books published her how-to guide My Parents Are Dead: What Now? A Panic-Free Guide to the Practicalities of Death in early 2026. Later that year, Becky launched the Bitching & Mourning podcast with Emmy-nominated comedy writer Alison Zeidman. In her increasingly limited spare time, she enjoys hanging upside down at her local aerial gym and walking her dog, Oklahoma.
